Maardu health care center

A health care center that exists nowadays is not attractive from the functional nor typological side. The multiplicity of dark long corridors and air full of medicine smell are repulsive and unpleasant for the users. Given thesis describes the solution of a health care center with the main part of it – health. The goal of the thesis is to change people’s comprehension of health, where a healthy being doesn’t mean only disease absence but is actually combination of a mental, physical and social well-being states. The project expands upon society, environment and persons behavior as a health affecting factor. Given thesis offers an architectural design of a health care center that affects people’s lifestyle and behavior, providing a good well-being while interacting with a health care facility and changing comprehension of doctors.
